Ceiling mounted heat pump cassettes are a less well-known cousin to the high wall heat pump, but offer some great advantages. We’ve just installed two Mitsubishi heat pump cassettes into a Tauranga home.
Prior to the heat pump installation, the only heating in the home came from a gas fireplace in the lounge. Now, most of this large home has heating/cooling thanks to these ceiling mounted cassettes.
Ceiling mounted heat pump cassettes mean you keep your wall and floor space free without compromising on comfort. Because they can blow in four directions simultaneously, they provide efficient heating/cooling to a large area. The new, compact grill design looks great and with it doesn’t stick out.
In this installation, the piping and cables were installed in the roof space, while the outdoor heat pump units have been positioned around the rear of the house, out of sight.
