This heat pump was installed in the lounge of a property in Pongakawa.
The high capacity heat pump is located in a large open plan Lounge, kitchen and dining area, neatly positioned above a wall mounted TV. An old fire place was covered over long ago, so we had to drill through 2 rows of bricks and a cavity to get the refrigeration pipes and cables to the outside. The heat pump needed to be wired back to the switchboard but there wasn’t a lot of room in the roof space. We got there in the end.
The outdoor unit (compressor) was mounted underneath the deck, out of the way and slightly protected from the elements. We installed a smaller Mitsubishi heat pump in the media room a few years back, which we placed the new heat pump outdoor unit next to.
