If you're looking for a high-efficiency heat pump that won't take up a lot of space, the Mitsubishi MSZ-AP20VGD is the perfect option for you. This compact heat pump is just 760mm wide, making it ideal for small spaces like bedrooms, home offices, and hallways.
When it comes to heat pumps, as with most things, you get what you pay for. There is a big difference in a cheaper branded heat pump (in this case, Daicool) when compared to a quality brand such as Mitsubishi Electric, or Fujitsu.
Normally my advice is that a heat pump will do just the room that it is in. But in this case, it has contributed to greater comfort to other rooms down the hall… this from the owner's mouth.
The owners of this Papamoa house already had a Toshiba heat pump in the lounge. It was installed when the house was built, but there was no heat pump in the bedroom. In consultation with the homeowner, we selected the Toshiba RAS-07PKVSG heat pump as the right fit for their bedroom.
Location, location, location! Air doesn’t like going around corners, but we’ve found that if it is directly opposite a doorway, you can get more out of your heat pump.
